The 2010 UK Corporate Governance Code requires that all directors should receive induction on joining the board and should regularly update and refresh their skills and knowledge. The chairman should regularly review and agree with each director their training and development needs. In addition, the board of FTSE 350 companies should be externally facilitated at least every three years. Our board effectiveness services support these needs and similar requirements in other countries.
