Capital Markets

The Trustee is an independent and impartial third party who can play a critical role in acting as a bridge between the borrower and the holders of its debt securities during the life of a loan capital issue. Bond issuers and their advisers are often faced with a choice between appointing a trustee or a fiscal agent whether on a stand alone issue or for a medium-term note programme. A fiscal agent may have a superficial attraction in cost terms but, an experienced trustee offers substantial advantages.

The growth of the structured finance market in recent years has demonstrated the flexibility of the capital markets in meeting the needs of both originators and investors. We act as trustee for the whole spectrum of structured finance transactions. In a fast moving transactional market we provide a long term relationship to the borrowers and groups (see Selection of Borrowers and Groups on the right hand side) who select Law Debenture as their Trustee.
